Text and file processing

Pasted text is held in the page's form controls and JavaScript memory. Selected files are read with browser file APIs. Checks, supported removals, output generation, preview, copy, and download happen on your device.

For a supported C2PA check, the browser lazily requests the official validator module, WebAssembly binary, worker, the pinned C2PA Conformance Trust List, and Anthropic's pinned provider root from watermarktidy.com. The selected file is passed directly to that local validator and is not included in any request. The application uses no cloud AI model or remote parsing service. Its Content Security Policy limits connections to the same origin and sets form-action 'none'.

Normal website requests still occur

Loading this site requests static HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and image files from Cloudflare. A C2PA check may additionally request the self-hosted validator and trust assets described above. Cloudflare therefore receives ordinary request information such as an IP address, timestamp, requested path, browser details, and security signals. Your pasted text and chosen file are not part of those requests.

Cloudflare's handling of infrastructure data is governed by its privacy policy. Watermark Tidy does not add Cloudflare Web Analytics, client-side monitoring, or an analytics beacon.

No application cookies or persistent storage

• No localStorage, IndexedDB, or service worker
• No saved text, images, or result history
• No marketing or behavior analytics

Temporary object URLs used for image previews and downloads are revoked when you reset the tool, select another file, or leave the page.

Browser text services are disabled

The text field disables spellcheck, autocorrect, autocomplete, and form serialization. This reduces the chance that enhanced browser writing services receive pasted text. Browser extensions and operating-system tools remain outside the website's control, so use a clean browser profile for unusually sensitive content.

Cleaned downloads

Cleaned text and images are generated locally. A download saves the generated copy through your browser. The original input remains unchanged unless you separately replace it yourself.
